Ivan Rushmer

Founder, Trackerserver

Ivan Rushmer is the founder of Trackerserver, a white-label telematics platform offered to tracking businesses in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

Rushmer's career in telematics began in 2014 and has taken in GPS tracking, the engineering of tracking software and the development of tracking hardware. Rushmer therefore understands both the devices deployed in the field and the systems that manage them, and that double view is the basis of the platform.

In software, Rushmer is a full-stack developer, with a hand in each layer of Trackerserver: the communication with devices, the servers, the web portal and the mobile applications.

Device makers form the other half of Rushmer's working life. Rushmer collaborates directly with several of the foremost manufacturers in telematics and has extensive experience of China, the country in which a great many trackers are designed and assembled; new devices have resulted from that collaboration.

Trackerserver today recognises over 4 800 models of device, which leaves a provider free to fit whatever hardware suits its customers. Every provider has a server to itself and trades under its own name and web address, offering live tracking, video telematics, tachograph and vehicle data, the tracking of trailers and plant, and positioning indoors.

UK businesses may contact Trackerserver through the enquiry page.
